Volunteer Webmaster Needed for SCGS

The South Carolina Genealogical Society is currently seeking a volunteer Webmaster.
You must have WordPress experience.  Experience with image/graphics, CSS, and HTML knowledge would be helpful.

Our organization has a very knowledgeable and helpful Website Designer/Consultant who provides any assistance when needed.

You will serve on the SCGS Board of Directors as Website Committee Chair. You have several members that serve on your Committee. You may choose some
members.  The SCGS Board has four scheduled meetings each year [January, April, July, October]. These are usually held in Columbia, SC. You or your representative [a
Committee Member] will be required to attend these meetings.

A significant portion of your duties include but are not limited to Website Maintenance.
This involves updating content, fixing broken links and images, new pictures, fresh content, new events and event registration, and product updates among others.
When the SCGS desires to make changes to the website, the webmaster will immediately work to implement these required changes.
